San Diego (North Park) Revival

Pastor Peter Odeneye of North Park is a Lottery Winner. Now that I have your attention, let me explain.
Pastor Odeneye is originally from Nigeria. In his country they have a lottery (not for money) but to win a visa to the United States. Peter's uncle tried for over a year to win without success, so he put his brother's name  (Peter's Father) in. The first attempt, Peter's Father won the visa and brought his family to America. Peter went through school, joined the US Navy and was on his way to becoming an officer, when he gave his life to Jesus in the Chula Vista Church. His future wife India was on the same ship as Peter and had also given her life to Jesus in the same church. Though they knew each other before salvation, God had a plan all along. They married and now have a 4 year old son and another child on the way. Feeling the call to preach, they forsook their careers in the Navy and have been Pastoring in North Park for 4 years.
The Revival-We had a great revival with many first time visitors and visiting Churches on Monday and Tuesday. I was reminded once again of the impact we have as a fellowship as we join together in our labors. Wednesday night we closed the Revival with great momentum as 5 people responded to the call for salvation and were gloriously touched. Pray for Peter and India as they labor in North Park, God is beginning to bring the breakthrough they have been asking Him for. This revival took place Sunday thru Wednesday October 12-15.
