Mesa, Az.

Last week (Aug. 21-25)I was able to preach for Pastor Jesse Deanda in Mesa, Az. Jesse and his wife Sylvia took over the church about three years ago from Gabriel and Lisa Ramirez who did an excellent job in establishing this work. The Deanda's are currently seeing a new influx of new people. We had a wonderful week with precious souls saved, people being filled with the Holy Ghost and personal words going forth to individual needs. The participation of their mother church (Richard Romero) made a huge difference as the building was packed out and gave the revival a real momentum. I have preached in this church many times over the years and have always been impressed by the quality of disciples and the faithfulness of God's people. One of the things God is doing now is bringing many Native Americans into the church. They are getting saved, contending for ministry and preaching in the Saturday Night Scene. Who knows what doors this will open in the future. This church also launched its first church in cooperation and assistance with their mother church in Mesa (Richard Romero). Greg and Jessica Mayorga (I hope I spelled that right) will be pioneeering in East Mesa and this couple has been "ripe" for ministry for some time. I believe God will give them open doors and immediate fruit. Pray for the Deanda's as they labor there, they are on the verge of him going full time and a little surge right now would make the difference.
