San Antonio, Texas Revivals

I just returned Friday from a series of meetings in San Antonio, Texas. It truly was a fruitful and rewarding time.
Revival 1.  I began with a meeting February 20-24 with Pastor Isaac Cortez. Isaac and wife Doris, along with their 3 children are currently laboring in this church which they pioneeered in 1992. After doing a missionary stint in South Africa, they returned to assume the pastorate of this church. The highlights of the revival were that God began to stir the saints to believe God for those around them that are lost. One young lady witnessed to her schoolmate and she got saved one night and filled with the Holy Ghost the next night. God is raising up a new generation of young people in this work. The final night we saw 7 or 8 people filled with the Holy Ghost. We also saw several people healed and personal words of knowledge go forth. One couple battling heroin addiction attended every service and were greatly helped to break free of this bondage.(nothing is too hard for God!) This church has been a tremendously fruitful church that has been rising to the call of supporting World Evangelism and planting new churches in San Antonio. Please pray for the Cortez' as they continue to take ground for Jesus in Texas and abroad!

Revival 2. I was able to do an opening revival Pastor Fernando Bononcini in the southern part of San Antonio. Fernando, his wife Lisa and 2 daughters are pioneering new ground there. God has given them a great building with a lot of exposure and in our 3 short services we saw a stream of visitors as the saints from Pastor Cortez' church came and labored in outreach. Sunday morning was a real highlight as Fernando's father came to the service and rededicated his life to Jesus. Pray for the Bononcini's as they get established there, favor with city offficials, etc.

Revival 3. The final meeting was with Pastor Rudy Estrada. Rudy and wife Brenda just welcomed newborn twins (boy and a girl) the week before revival so it was a stretching time for them. God rewarded them with a great revival! Throughout the week we saw several visitors, people saved and new converts begin to catch the vision of what God has brought them into. Pastor Rudy proclaimed "This revival is going to go out with a bang". Those words were prophetic as we saw 3 people saved and several filled with the Holy Ghost and others healed of various sicknesses and injuries on the final evening. The Estrada's have been laboring there for 3 1/2 years and are really experiencing a season of breakthrough. Pray for them that God would bring a rooting and grounding to the young converts that have recently been touched by God. This revival took place February 27-March 3.
