Clifton, Az Revival

I had the great privilege of preaching a revival in Clifton, Az last week (the 6th thru 9th). Though this was not my first time there, but it always reminds me of God's faithfulness and His power. Clifton was the first church Tucson planted. It was planted in 1977 and after years of the up and down copper industry (Clifton is a mining town). There are still a people who (some saved when the church first opened) love Jesus and are going on for God "through many dangers, toils and snares". These people still have tender hearts towards God and have a vision for God to move in their city. I believe God is going to visit them"in the midst of the years"(Hab. 3:2). Our Administrative Pastors Fred and Mary Lou Gonzales were saved in this church back in the day.
The church has been Pastored the last eight years by Thomas and Eve Williams, along with their extended family. It was a blessing seeing their children laboring to minister to the church in music, ushering, food preparation, etc. I believe God has such a wonderful destiny for their lives. God has promised us in the last days "I will pour out my Spirit on my servants and handmaidens". Please pray for the Williams as they faithfully labor there in that city, there are many backsliders and people still to be won to Jesus.
PS I want to thank Elvia for the dynamite Green Chili she served us on Tuesday night! I heard she used to cook for Pastor Warner when he first visited the city to scout out the land. I think the Green Chili might have sealed the deal.
