Portland, Oregon

Just before Prescott Bible Conference I had the great privilege of preaching a revival in Portland, Or. My family had labored in the Nortwest between 1988-1990. We pioneeered in Renton, Wa. (Seattle area) and then had begun a new work in Beaverton, Or. which is a suburb of Portland before moving to California.
I have to say that the Northwest still has a special place in our hearts as we remember those days, the relationships we formed and trying to get used to the weather (lots of rain and clouds). God gave us a wonderful meeting as we began on Wednesday the last day of the New Year fast. There was a rich presence of God in each service and the saints were greatly encouraged as words of challenge and encouragement went forth.I had preached in this church during my first stint as an evangelist and actually had preached a couple of services in its beginning stages which was around 1990. It was a blessing to see some of the same saints still laboring and on fire after all these years. The church is currently being pastored by Roger and Heidi Napier. Roger and his family spent several years in England, so they are veterans of cloudy, rainy weather and you can see the hand of God on them as they lead this wonderful church. They are in the process of looking for a new building. Please pray that God would open doors and give them direction as they seek the will of God for that area. This revival took place January 5-9.
