Rio Rancho NM
April 17-20 I travelled to Rio Rancho, NM to preach a revival for Pastor Keith Mickens. Keith, his wife Shelly and family have been laboring in Rio Rancho for appx. 9 years. They are now seeing a new thrust and momentum of the Spirit of God in their services. Souls are being saved, disciples are being raised up and a fresh new wind is blowing in their church. I believe this is " a time of refreshing" and I was reminded how God rewards faithfulness to His Kingdom. We could feel God moving from the opening service on Sunday morning with people saved and on throught the week as we saw a mixture of God touching visitors and young converts as well as God beginning to stir some of his faithful saints. It gives me just as much joy to watch an older convert begin to rise again and rededicate themselves as it does a brand new conversion.
Pray for the Mickens as they are beginning to grow out of their building and are in the process of looking for other facilities. Pastors agonize over these things as they know how a move affects the church and the struggle to find the right area/building is always a challenge.
