McAllen, Texas 20 Year Anniversary Revival

November 7 through 10 the McAllen, Texas church celebrated its 20 year anniversary. The church was pioneered and currently pastored by Joe and Mary Helen Moreno. It was a great honor for me to preach their 20 year anniversary revival. Each night testimonies were given by the people in the congregation of how their lives were transformed by salvation and what God had done in their lives through God working in that church. We saw a number of people respond during the week to salvation as well as a number of prophecies to the church and words of knowledge to many individuals. The last night Pastor Moreno brought in his area pioneer churches and we probably saw well over 500 people in attendance. As I sat on the platform looking at the assembly God quickened a verse of scripture to me out of I Peter 2:10  "who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." As the testimonies went forth through the week of God rescuing and redeeming people out of the destructive lifestyles of sin, the truth of God making a people the people of God that once were not his people shined forth. I shared this with those gathered and I am currently working on a sermon on that thought.
The McAllen church is powering on for God with disciples and young couples being groomed for the harvest field. Pray for them as they continue to seek God's destiny for their congregation.

Santa Rosa, NM Revival

October 31st through November 3rd I had the privilege of preaching a revival for Pastor Larry Sandoval in Santa Rosa, NM. He and his wife Lisa have been laboring in that city for the last 2 years after taking the church from George and Yolanda Cruz. Larry and Lisa were saved in the Pueblo, Colorado church and were instrumental as pillars and the beginning foundation of that church. That experience is paying off now as they are seeking to establish a thriving work in Santa Rosa.
The revival went well as we saw a number of visitors and backsliders coming back to God. We also saw a number of people gloriously healed. One night a young man named Jagger came to the service backslidden and full of pain in his body due to a car accident some time back. He prayed to rededicate his life, then we prayed for healing and God instantly touched him and set him free. You could see a noticeable change in his countenance after service and he kept repeating how greatful he was to be relieved of his pain. He attended the remainding services and was on his way to a new life in Jesus! It is these types of miracles and transformations that keep my heart stirred for all that God wants to do in these last days. When you see God's willingness and compassion on people it makes it such a joy to serve Him.
